AKLIEF (Trifarotene 50 mcg/g) topical cream is designed for the treatment of acne vulgaris on the face and/or trunk in patients aged 12 and older. The active ingredient, trifarotene, is a topical retinoid suitable for use on the trunk (chest, back, and shoulders) as well as the face. AKLIEF works by unclogging pores, clearing existing acne, preventing new acne from forming, and reducing inflammation.

How to Use :

• Cleanse the area to be treated with a mild or soap-free cleanser and pat dry.
• Apply a thin layer of AKLIEF Cream to the affected areas once a day in the evening.
• Use one pump for the face and two pumps for the chest, shoulders, and back; an additional pump can be used for the middle and lower back if needed.
• Treat the entire area, not just individual spots.

Caution & Warnings :  Patients using AKLIEF Cream may experience redness, scaling, dryness, and stinging/burning sensations. It is recommended to use a moisturizer from the start of treatment. Depending on the severity of these reactions, reduce the frequency of application, suspend, or discontinue use as appropriate. Avoid applying AKLIEF Cream to cuts, abrasions, or skin that is eczematous or sunburned. Do not use "waxing" as a hair removal method on skin treated with AKLIEF Cream. Minimize exposure to sunlight. Use sunscreen and protective clothing on treated areas when exposure cannot be avoided. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and nostrils. Moisturize and protect your skin as often as needed to reduce dryness and irritation.
