Travoprost free acid, a prostaglandin analog is a selective FP prostanoid receptor agonist which is believed to reduce intraocular pressure by increasing uveoscleral outflow.

It is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

• Wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication before putting in your contact lenses.
• Tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
• Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place 1 drop in the pouch, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
