Details
For treatment of folate deficiency, Folicum tablets contains the active ingredient Folic acid also known as vitamin B9 of the vitamin B group. It is reduced in the body to tetrahydrofolate, which is a coenzyme for various metabolic processes. Folic acid is well-absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

- Used in women of child-bearing potential and pregnant women to protect against neural tube defects in their offspring.
