Topical treatment for lip sores and mouth ulcers. It contains carbenoxolone sodium which helps to heal ulcers from oral lesions. Carbenoxolone Sodium is steroidal in structure and steroid-like activity has been demonstrated with regard to both anti-inflammatory and mineralocorticoid activity. This gel is indicated for the treatment of lip sores, mouth ulcers, and orofacial lesions caused by virus infections.

How to Use : Adults and Children, over 3 years of age: Herpesan Gel should be applied thickly to lesions four times daily, preferably after meals and at bedtime. The gel should be applied at the first symptoms (tingling or burning sensation) of a lip sore or mouth ulcer. The gel should be allowed to remain on the affected area for as long as possible.

Usage Precautions :

• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Keep in a cool and dry place.
• Read instructions before use.
• Stop use and contact a physician if adverse reactions occur.
• Pregnant or nursing mother and individuals with a known medical condition should consult physician before using.
