Similac 3 is a spray dried infant milk alternative for older children ages 12 to 18 months. Similac is an iron-fortified feeding formula as part of a healthy diet during and after weaning. Similac is scientifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of infants and contains a unique palm olein oil-free fat blend that promotes better calcium and fatty acid absorption.

How to Use : Use as directed by your baby’s physician. Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula.Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm.Although Similac NeoSure powder is formulated for premature infants, powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s physician.Use water that has previously been heated at a full rolling boil for 5 minutes. Allow the water to cool and follow the mixing instructions carefully.Use only the scoop enclosed in this tin to measure Similac NeoSure.If you prepare more than one feeding, refrigerate immediately at 2 - 4 °C and use within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard.Thoroughly wash feeding bottle, nipple, cap and all utensils to be used in preparing the feeding.After rinsing soap from the utensils, boil them for 5 minutes.Provide a clean surface on which to prepare the formula.In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool.Pour the correct amount of warm, previously boiled water into the sterilized feeding bottle.Fill enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of a knife.Add one level scoop of Similac NeoSure to each 60 ml of water in bottle.Mix until completely dissolved. Test temperature and feed formula within one hour.Discard unused formula within one hour.

• Store unopened tin under normal room conditions (not to exceed 25 °C).
• Store opened tin with cover on, in a cool dry place (not in refrigerator) and use within 3 weeks.
• Warning : Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula. Serious burns can result.
