Troximetacin gel is a combination medicinal product containing Indometacin and Troxerutin.

Troximetacin gel when applied on skin, inhibits the inflammatory oedematous reaction, relieves pain and fever at the surface and deeper located inflammatory foci, since it penetrates the deeply located blood vessels. It has a pronounced venous tonic, capillary tonic and hemostatic effects.

Troximetacin gel is indicated for symptomatic treatment of:

• Chronic venous insufficiency (oedema, pain and weight in the legs)
• Superficial thrombophlebitis, phlebitis; post-phlebitic conditions
• Complex treatment of hemorrhoidal disease
• Soft tissue rheumatism: tendovaginistis, bursitis, fibrositis, periarthritis
• Postoperative oedema, contusions, luxations, distorsions

How To Use :

 Adults and children over the age of 14 years:

Troximetacin gel is applied 3-4 times daily by gently rubbing onto the affected area in a thin layer. The amount sufficient for a single treatment is around 4-5 cm gel. The total daily amount should not exceed 20 cm.

Children below the age of 14 years:

The experience with children younger than 14 years is limited therefore the product administration is not recommended.

Elderly patients:

Troximetacin gel is applied 3-4 times daily by gently rubbing onto the affected area in a thin layer.  The amount sufficient for a single treatment is around 4 – 5 cm gel. The total daily amount should not exceed 20 cm.

The duration of administration should not exceed 10 days.

Indometacin – 30 mg

Troxerutin – 20 mg
