Himalaya Koflet-EX Linctus Syrup 100ml

Koflet is beneficial in both productive and dry cough. The mucolytic and expectorant properties reduce the viscosity of bronchial secretions and facilitate expectoration. Koflet’s peripheral antitussive (cough suppressant) action reduces bronchial mucosal irritation and related bronchospasms. In addition, the anti-allergic, antimicrobial and immune-modifying properties provide relief from cough. The demulcent action of Koflet syrup soothes respiratory passages.

How to Use :  Adults and Children above 12 years of age: 1 to 2 teaspoonsful (5-10 ml) three to four times daily. Children (3-12 years of age): ½ to 1 teaspoonful (2.5-5 ml) three to four times daily.

Special Precautions

• Stop the use and ask your physician if cough lasts for more than 7 days.
• Continuous use for more than 4 weeks is not advisable.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a physician before use.

Key Ingredients :

• Vasaka : Rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory plant compounds which are known to suppress inflammatory responses in lung tissues by targeting free radicals, inflammation-related enzymes, and product of inflammatory mediators.
• Biranjasipha : It is known to have a bronchodialatory effect by relaxing the muscles of airways and thus helping improve the amount of airflow to and from the lungs.
• Peppermint Satva : Helps thin sputum and facilitate easy expectoration by stimulating mucous secreting cells, augments the soluble mucus content, and lowers the specific gravity of bronchial secretions.
