The SISSEL® Comfort support pillow was designed as a positioning aid with a wide range of applications in physiotherapy,preventative or therapeutic treatment, in a clinical environment or at home.Support pillows aid the positioning of patients in many ways and in particular offer a stable lateral positioning which is important in geriatric care, after surgical procedures and injuries, and to relieve strain on the back. In addition, this particular design has
been recommended for decades for use in pregnancy and while breastfeeding. There are two fillings available: polystyrene and polypropylene. Polystyrene pillows easily adapt to the body€™s contours while polypropylene pillows hold their shape better.
