Details
Voltaren comes in the form of an ampoule, a solution for injection. Each ampoule contains 75 mg of the active ingredient diclofenac sodium. Voltaren belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to treat pain and inflammation. Intramuscular injections Voltaren used to treat the following conditions: pain in rheumatic crises and pains (arthritis), back pain syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and other forms of rheumatism; gout attacks; pain gallstones or kidney; pain and swelling after surgery and injuries; severe migraine attacks. Intravenous infusions of Voltaren used for treating or preventing pain following surgery.
