How to Use the Braun ThermoScan® 7+ Ear Thermometer
- Remove the thermometer from its protective case.
- Press the power button to turn on.
- Always place a new Braun Hygiene cap on the probe before each use.
- Select the appropriate age group using the Age Precision® button; toggle through groups until the desired age is selected:
- 0–3 months
- 3–36 months
- 36 months–adult
- Gently insert the wide-angle probe snuggly into the ear canal, aiming toward the opposite temple.
- Press and release the start button.
- Wait for the ExacTemp® light and beep to confirm stable and accurate positioning.
- Read the temperature on the digital display (color-coded according to the selected age group).
- Dispose of the Hygiene cap after each use to maintain hygiene and avoid cross-contamination.
