The Trister Digital Ear Thermometer TS 260TDE is designed for safe and accurate ear temperature measurement. Using infrared technology, it detects heat from the ear canal to provide a precise body temperature reading on the LCD. Ear temperatures reflect core body temperatures effectively, as the eardrum is in the cranial cavity and is less influenced by environmental conditions.

Instructions for Use:

• Ensure that the thermometer is clean and free of any dirt or residue.
• Insert the disposable Probe covers.
• Press the power button to turn on the thermometer.
• Gently insert the thermometer probe into the ear canal. Make sure it fits snugly and is pointing towards the eardrum. Do not force it into the ear.
• Press the Test button once and wait until you hear a long beep.
• Carefully remove the thermometer from the ear canal, being cautious not to touch the probe cover.
• Take note of the reading and press the power button to turn it off.
• Discard the probe cover by pressing the ejector button.
