Still called Pistou in the Mediterranean, the leaves are used raw to flavour dishes. The Basil is native to tropical areas in Asia and Africa. Use: Diffusion +, Bath +, Massage ++, Orally +++ How to use: Orally- Colitis: 2 drops of tropical basil EO on a neutral tablet after a meal. Once to twice per day for 5-7 days. Not to for long-term use. Massage - Digestion problems: 5 drops of tropical basil EO + 5 drops of medicinal lavender EO in 15ml of sweet almond oil. Massage in circular motions onto the abdomen. Contraindication: Skin sensitivity in pure state. Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 8 years of age. Contains eucalyptol.
