  6. You take the nebulizer medicine when you breathe through your mouth. The time is only about 10 to 15 minutes. If the need arises, use a nose clip so that you are forced to breathe only through your mouth. Kids usually fare well when they use the mask for their medicines.  
  7. After finishing, turn the machines off.
  8. Wash the nebulizer medicine cup and mouthpiece and dry them properly so they can be used for your next treatment therapy.

How to maintain and clean the nebulizer machine?

  • Wash your hands and try operating them on a sterile surface.
  • After the mask, mouthpiece, tube and medicine chamber disconnected, wash every piece completely with warm and soapy water. 
  • You should dry every piece on a sterile towel.
  • Sanitize and disinfect the instrument, as mentioned in the manufacturer’s instructions.
